I check out the Bank of The Cascades career listings on their website at least once a week.<\/p>\n
Tonight was absolutely ludicrous though; there are three openings in my town and two of them they are no longer accepting applications for (the third one I am not even close to being qualified for).<\/p>\n
The other positions available are in Portland, Oregon (200 mile commute each way, no thank you) or Meridian, Idaho (I haven’t a clue where Meridian, Idaho even is) or Boise, Idaho (252 mile commute each way)<\/p>\n
Have they not heard of removing the expired listings altogether or alternatively disabling the links?<\/p>\n
Or is the practice of giving false hope to potential employees something that Bank of The Cascades does on a regular basis?<\/p>\n
I say false hope because I have experience relevant to both of the positions that they are no longer accepting applications for (proof operator and customer service center representative)<\/p>\n
