So I finally ran out of the Aloe Joba shampoo and started using the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo.<\/p>\n

At first, other than smelling like a large box of Junior Mints after I washed my hair, everything was great.<\/p>\n

Then the itching started again.<\/p>\n

And it was worse than anything I ever experienced with the Pantene Pro V or Garnier Fructis or Herbal Essences. Those three shampoos\/conditioners, the itching would last for an hour tops.<\/p>\n

With the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo the itching lasts for literally hours if not days. I washed my hair yesterday (Wednesday) around 8:30 am, it is now 5:31 am on Thursday and my scalp is STILL itching although not as bad as it was yesterday.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo either causes dandruff or it causes the skin on my scalp to peel off, because every time I used it when I started scratching there would be a lot of white ‘stuff’ under my fingernails for at least an hour after shampooing.<\/p>\n

This dandruff or scalp peeling happened whether I used a tiny bit of shampoo or a lot of shampoo; yesterday I barely used enough to get my hair clean and the itching\/peeling was worse than when I used a lot.<\/p>\n

Yesterday was the absolute worst though because the itching was so severe and lasted for such a long time that it actually made me physically ill.<\/p>\n

I finally gave up and took the almost full bottle of Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo back to Perfect Look late yesterday morning. It turns out that I am not the only person allergic to or sensitive to the tea tree oil.<\/p>\n

Even though the bottle of shampoo was partially used and I didn’t have my receipt, they allowed me to exchange it for 1 large bottle of Aloe Joba shampoo, 1 small bottle of Aloe Joba shampoo, and 1 large bottle of Aloe Joba conditioner.
