This person’s website was hosted by Webspawner. As a member of Webspawner, I know that they do not accept adult content. The website in question was adult by anyone’s standards, so I reported it to Webspawner.
Hello,
As part of the data collection necessary to remove the account for violation of our acceptable use policy… Could you please provide the URL of your blog and a screenshot of the post that they made on your blog?
We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for contacting WebSpawner.com Customer Support.
Regards,
Art
My (partial) reply:
Here’s a question for you: why in the name of all that’s holy would I keep the comment? Why would I approve a comment that I find offensive?
My blog is NOT adult in content, and I do remove all offensive, spam, or off-topic comments as soon as they are made. I am well within my rights to do so; this is NOT a free blog, its a top level domain registered in MY name and hosting is paid for by me.
All I have is the notification I get from Word Press when comments are left.
I did provide Webspawner with the notification I receive from Word Press. I provided them with the url of my blog as was requested, although what that has to do with anything is beyond me.
I’ve heard nothing from them, no big surprise there. I guess their “data collection necessary to remove the account for violation of our acceptable use policy” was just more claptrap too as the offensive page has not been removed.
