I have applied for 44 positions at St Charles Medical Center since February 2010.
My joke to friends is that I intend to keep applying there until they give up and hire me just so they won’t have to look at another application from me.
I have applied for everything from Environmental Services Attendant (aka janitor) to Emergency Services Unit Secretary to Accounting Technician.
Yes I have professional janitorial experience (although you wouldn’t guess that from looking at my house); I have secretarial, receptionist, and administrative assistant experience as well.
And one of my two degrees is in Accounting (along with several years of accounting experience, which includes doing the books for several small businesses in Lake Oswego, Oregon and Bend, Oregon, processing loan payoffs for Wells Fargo & Company, and processing returned items for First Interstate Bank).
So when oh when will St Charles Medical Center finally break down and give me a job?
